About Me
I am a music teacher, a youth minister, a cook, a foodie, an artist, and a health nut.
I’m married to the most beautiful woman in the world.
On January 1st, 2010, I weighed 225 pounds and was in the worst shape of my life. My blood work had recently shown severe problems with cholesterol and triglycerides. I was a mess. I decided to turn my life around. So, I cleaned out my fridge and started exercising. I’ve never looked back. I started this blog a few months later to chronicle my own 365 day journey of healthy living.
My goal is to consistently stay healthy and active for an entire year from the opening date of this blog to the finish. I’m going to learn as much as I can, eat as well as I can, and be as active as I can the entire time.
My hope is that someone will find this blog and become inspired to make better decisions for their health.
If you’re on this journey with me: Stay strong and keep going! You owe it to yourself.
